CP is a practising regional HR leader and consultant. He has more than 12 years of combined experience in HR Business Partnering, Learning, Talent and Organisation Development locally and regionally in the Asia Pacific and South-East Asia region. He has worked in various HR roles in the Singapore Civil Service, Multi-National Corporations (IT, Medical, Insurance Brokerage & Professional Services), Banking & Finance Institutions and high-growth technology-driven Start-Ups. He specialises in designing and conducting programs and solutions leveraging on various psychometric profiling tools and assessments. As a trained and certified career and executive coach, CP has designed and led many initiatives and strategies in progressive HR practices to enhance and strengthen employee relationship and engagement as well as diversity and inclusion at the workplace. He also provides internal and external performance and career coaching to aspiring HR and business leaders to people managers and business leaders.
As a HR leader in high-growth start-ups since 2017, CP advocates and facilitates the formation and development of agile project teams, providing leaders and managers with the support in inculcating the agile principles and mindset throughout the organisations, while practicing the same within the HR function. Through his experience and training, CP holds numerous agile related certification such as various ICAgile certifications, CSM and PMI-ACP. He is also an ICAgile accredited trainer.
CP holds a MBA (Merit) with Strathclyde Business School and a Master of Science in Industrial & Organisational Psychology from Baruch College, City University of New York. He graduated from NUS School of Engineering with a Bachelor’s degree, and had successfully completed various post-graduate and specialist diploma programs in Education with the National Institute of Education, Career Counselling with Republic Polytechnic and HR Management with Singapore HR Institute, all based in Singapore.
