John Hamalian has over 20 years of experience at General Motors and Dell, specialising in Innovation, Change and Transformation, Management, Lean-Agile-Design Thinking and Sustainable Excellence. With assignments based in the USA, China, Germany, Korea, India and Singapore, he has held 2 Asia-Pacific Regional Director of Business Excellence positions.

John learned Lean and Agile concepts directly from a former Toyota manager in the 1990s and has been leading change and improvement efforts ever since. He is a Certified ScrumMaster, Certified Agile Professional, and holds certifications in Agile Coaching and Agility in Enterprise. Currently, John provides coaching, facilitation and training to help people and organisations across Asia improve their performance and increase value in whatever they do.

An avid explorer, John has visited over 70 countries, including all of Asia, and speaks conversational Mandarin Chinese. He is also a lecturer at various universities; a published writer on Management, Leadership, Strategy and Asian culture; and an active speaker at conferences, global corporations and professional institutions. John holds an MBA from Fordham University in New York and a Bachelor Degree in Engineering from Kettering University in Michigan. He is also an authorised ICAgile trainer.
